How beautiful Tatsuta River is! It’s covered with many beautiful red colored leaves. I’ve never heard of such a fantastic scene since the ancient period when many strange incidents happened.

Do you know 100 Poets and Poems? They are Japanese old poems written about 1000 years ago. In that era Japanese old nobility were required to write poems. It was one of their cultures. Men used to write an amorous poem to send it to their girl friends. And women also used to return the poems to them. The noble women wearing gorgeous kimono and having long and straight hair always fell in love. And she wrote her emotions in the poem. That was her everyday life. Sometimes they were moved by the beautiful environment and wrote it in the poem, too. I will try to translate these poems into English here. If you have time, would you mind enjoying them for a little while?
